The optionconnects the drive to a PROFINET network and facilitates the exchange of data.PROFINET is a communications link to connect industrial devices (such as smart motor controllers, operatorinterfaces, and variable frequency drives) as well as control devices (such as programmable controllers andcomputers) to a network. PROFINET is a simple networking solution.
