Select ControllerSelect the desired protocol (Windows NT/95*/98*/200/XP, Sockets, IBM*) for thecommunication between ICP RAID Navigator and the system equipped with the ICPRAID controller by double clicking on the protocol icon on the very left side of thewindow (see Figure 11-125). If you want to select an ICP RAID controller via TCP/IP(sockets), type in the corresponding TCP/IP address or the server system’s name (seeFigure 11-126). Enter a user name and password (see Figure 11-127). This information istransmitted with encryption.After you select the protocol, select the system which contains the ICP RAID controllerand then the ICP RAID controller itself. The selection and de-selection is done by doubleclicking on the ICP RAID controller. The selected protocol, system and ICP RAIDcontroller are shown in a dashed square frame.
