Chaining is only available after having selected two or more drives in the ICPRAID Console or ICP RAID Navigator.Warning: Using logical drives of the typechain as components of array drives is notrecommended.Warning: Disk Chaining does not offer any form of data protection.B.1.1 Configuring a Chaining Set Using ICPCON1. Select Create New Host Drive.2. Select 2 or more drives.3. Press Enter and select Chaining.B.1.2 Configuring a Chaining Set Using ICP RAID Navigator1. Click on the New host drive icon.2. Select the Configuration menu, then Host Drive, Create New. A new host drivewindow appears.3. Select a drive(s) using and arrow keys. Chaining is greyed out before selecting2 drives and is available after selecting 2 drives.4. Select Chaining and press Enter.The system will configure the chain set that is now a logical drive.
