Black plate (58,1)Cadillac STS Owner Manual - 2011Vent Open: To open the power sunroof to the ventposition from the closed position, press and hold thepassenger's side sunroof switch forward. The rear ofthe sunroof panel will tilt upward to the full vent position.The sunshade must be opened manually.Express Close: The express close feature will operatefrom the open or partially open position. To expressclose the power sunroof, fully press the driver sideswitch forward once. To stop the sunroof glass in adesired position other than closed, press the switchagain in either direction. The sunshade must be closedmanually.Close: To close the power sunroof, operate the controlsaccording to one of the following:. From the open position, press and hold the driver'sside sunroof switch forward. The sunshade mustbe closed manually.. From the vent position, press and hold thepassenger side sunroof switch rearward.Anti-Pinch: If an object is in the path of the sunroofwhile it is closing, the anti-pinch feature will detect theobject and stop the sunroof from closing at the point ofthe obstruction. The sunroof will then return to thefull-open or vent position. To close the sunroof once ithas re-opened, refer to the two options previouslydescribed under the “Close” feature instructions.Dirt and debris may collect on the sunroof seal or in thetracks that could cause an issue with sunroof operation,noise or plug the water drainage system. Periodicallyopen the sunroof and remove any obstacles or loosedebris. Wipe the sunroof seal and roof sealing areausing a clean cloth, mild soap, and water. Do notremove grease from sunroof.3-58
