Thisis normal operation, your vehicle does not need service.Other MessagesThere are three messages that may appear on theDriver Information Center (DIC). They are CLEANRADAR, RADAR CRUISE NOT READY and SERVICERADAR CRUISE. See DIC Warnings and Messages onpage 4‑76.Cleaning the SystemThe radar can become blocked by snow, ice, or dirt.If so, you may need to turn off the engine and clean thelens. See “Cleaning the System” under Adaptive CruiseControl on page 4‑15.Flash-to-PassThis feature allows you to use the high-beamheadlamps to signal the driver in front of you that youwant to pass.Pull and hold the turn signal/multifunction lever towardyou to use this feature. When this is done the followingwill occur:. If the headlamps are off, in low-beam or in DaytimeRunning Lamps (DRL) mode, the high-beamheadlamps will turn on. They will stay on as longas the lever is held there. Release the lever to turnthem off.. If the headlamps are in high-beam mode, they willswitch to low beam. To return to high-beam, pushthe lever forward.4-9
