To limit wheel spin, especially in slippery roadconditions, the system should always be left on, butTCS can be turned off if needed.Notice: Do not repeatedly brake or accelerateheavily when TCS is off. The vehicle's drivelinecould be damaged.When TCS is turned off on a vehicle with AWD, thesystem may still be working. This is normal andnecessary with the hardware on the vehicle.It may be necessary to turn the system off if the vehiclegets stuck in sand, mud or snow and rocking the vehicleis required. See Enhanced StabiliTrak ® onpage 5‑7 for instructions on selecting the properstability control mode.Press and release the TCS/StabiliTrak button and TCSwill turn off and the Traction Control System WarningLight will come on.
