When an object isvery close (<0.6 m (2 ft) in thevehicle rear, or <0.3 m (1 ft) in thevehicle front), five beeps will soundfrom the rear or front, or both sidesof the Safety Alert Seat will pulsefive times. Beeps for Front ParkingAssist are higher pitched than forRear Parking Assist.Turning the Features On or OffThe X button in the center stack isused to turn on or off the Front andRear Parking Assist. The indicatorlight next to the button comes onwhen the features are on and turnsoff when the features have beendisabled.The parking assist symbols andguidance lines can be turned on oroff through the Settings menu onthe infotainment system. To turn thesymbols or guidance lines on or off:1. On the infotainment system,press the SETTINGS screenbutton, or turn the MENU knobto highlight Settings andpress MENU.2. Select Rear Camera.3.
