An overheated seatheater may cause a burn or maydamage the seat.The buttons are near the climatecontrols on the center stack. Tooperate, the ignition must be in ON/RUN/START.Press J or z to heat the driver orpassenger seat cushion andseatback.Press the button once for thehighest setting. With each press ofthe button, the seat will change tothe next lower setting, and then tothe off setting. The indicator lightsnext to the buttons indicate three forthe highest setting and one for thelowest. If the heated seats are onhigh, the level may automatically belowered after approximately30 minutes.When this feature is off, the heatedseat symbol on the button is white.When the heated seat is turned on,the symbol turns red.The passenger seat may takelonger to heat up.Auto Heated SeatsThe controls can be accessed whilethe vehicle is on by pressing Q onthe center stack.Press the touch screen J AUTO orz AUTO button. The area aroundthe button will change to red whenthis feature is on.When the vehicle is on, this featurewill automatically activate theheated seats at the level required bythe vehicle’s interior temperature.The active high, medium, low, or offheated seat level will be indicatedby the manual heated seat buttonson the center stack. Use the touchscreen button or the manual heatedseat buttons on the center stack toturn auto heated seats off.If the passenger seat is unoccupied,the auto heated seats feature willnot activate that seat.The auto heated seats feature canbe programmed to always beenabled when the vehicle is on. SeeVehicle Personalization onpage 5-52.Remote Start Auto Heated SeatsWhen it is cold outside, the heatedseats can be turned onautomatically during a remote start.They are canceled when the ignitionis turned on. Press the button to usethe heated seats after the vehicle isstarted.
