This could lead to a crashand you or others could be injured.Use only one compact spare tyre ata time.If this vehicle has a compact sparetyre, it was fully inflated when new;however, it can lose air over time.Check the inflation pressure regularly.It should be 420 kPa (60 psi).Stop as soon as possible and checkthat the spare tyre is correctly inflatedafter being installed on the vehicle.The compact spare tyre is designed fortemporary use only. The vehicle willperform differently with the spare tyreinstalled and it is recommended thatthe vehicle speed be limited to80 km/h (50 mph). To conserve thetread of the spare tyre, have thestandard tyre repaired or replaced assoon as convenient and return thespare tyre to the storage area.When using a compact spare tyre, theAWD (if equipped), ABS, and TractionControl systems may engage until thespare tyre is recognised by the vehicle,especially on slippery roads. Adjustdriving to reduce possible wheel slip.CautionWhen the compact spare isinstalled, do not take the vehiclethrough an automatic car washwith guide rails. The compact sparecan get caught on the rails whichcan damage the tyre, wheel, andother parts of the vehicle.Do not use the compact spare onother vehicles.Do not mix the compact spare tyre orwheel with other wheels or tyres. Theywill not fit. Keep the spare tyre and itswheel together.CautionTyre chains will not fit the compactspare. Using them can damage thevehicle and the chains.
