Duster 3000FC Air Filtration System ConsumablesIntroductionIn order to maintain the Island Clean Air Duster 3000FC air filtration systems, several consumableitems are needed. There are two different types of filters for the Duster 3000FC system, those thatfilter particulate matter and those that filter chemical emissions. These filters are describedbelow.Dust Pad (3010118359)The exterior, green-colored filter, visible on three ofthe four sides of the system is called theDust Pad.TheDust Pad is a coarse pre-filter that is designed totrap and hold large dust and particulate matter as it isinitially drawn into the system. This pre-filter is com-prised of a coarse media that can be cleaned severaltimes but that does deteriorate over time and requiresreplacement 1 to 2 times per year on average. TheDust Pad can be shaken, blown with compressed airfrom the inside or vacuumed from the outside, in or-der to clean it.
