User manual SEFELEC 5x Series 77 v1.06THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES: "SAFETY LOOP OPEN": the safety loop is not closed, there is no connection betweenthe points 1-9 or 2-10 of connector C5 on the rear panel of the device. Press OK toacknowledge the message "OVER RANGE": the insulation resistance of the sample under test is higher thanthe measurement possibilities of the device (> 2 TΩ or other value according to themeasurement voltage) "SATURATION": the insulation resistance of the sample under test is lower than themeasurement possibilities of the device (< 100 kΩ) "CHARGE…": The measurement voltage has not reached its final value. The voltagegenerator charges the capacity of the sample under test. This message should appearmomentarily when switching to measuring mode. If this message persists the measure-ment voltage requested cannot be supplied to the resistance measured.Check the characteristics of the voltage generator. "VOLTAGE ERROR": If a measurement time is defined, and during the test the mes-sage: "Charge..." is displayed permanently, at the end of the measurement time the testis declared NG and the message: "Voltage error" indicates the cause.If necessary, refer to the information on the message: "Charge…"
