5-80 N60 NETWORK STABILITY AND SYNCHROPHASOR MEASUREMENT SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUALPRODUCT SETUP CHAPTER 5: SETTINGS5Each command is identified by the unique combination made by the function type (FUN) and information number (INF). Ifthe master sends an ASDU command that does not have the FUN and INF of any configured command, the relay rejects it.Table 5-10: Commands mapping table5.3.5 Modbus user mapSETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP MODBUS USER MAPThe Modbus user map provides read-only access for up to 256 registers. To obtain a memory map value, enter the addressin the ADDRESS line (converted from hex to decimal format). The corresponding value displays in the VALUE line. A value of“0” in subsequent register ADDRESS lines automatically returns values for the previous ADDRESS lines incremented by “1.”An address value of “0” in the initial register means “none” and values of “0” display for all registers. Different ADDRESSvalues can be entered as required in any of the register positions. The UR Series Communications Guide outlines the Modbus memory map. The map is also viewable in a web browser; enterthe IP address of the N60 in the web browser and click the option.5.3.6 Real-time clock5.3.6.1 MenuSETTINGS PRODUCT SETUP REAL TIME CLOCKThe relay contains a real time clock (RTC) to create timestamps for communications protocols as well as for historical data, such as event records and oscillography. When the relay restarts, the RTC initializes from an onboard battery-backedclock, which has the same accuracy as an electronic watch, approximately ±1 minute per month (~23 ppm). Once the RTCis synchronized with the Precision Time Protocol (PTP), IRIG-B, or SNTP, its accuracy approaches that of the synchronizingtime delivered to the relay.Description ValueOff 0Virtual Input 1 1Virtual Input 2 2... ...Virtual Input 64 64 MODBUS USER MAP ADDRESS 1: 0VALUE: 0Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1 ADDRESS 256: 0VALUE: 0Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1 REAL TIME CLOCK SYNCRONIZING SOURCE:NoneRange: None, PP/IRIG-B/PTP/SNTP, IRIG-B/PP/PTP/SNTP, PP/PTP/IRIG-B/SNTP REAL TIME CLOCKEVENTS: DisabledRange: Enabled, Disabled IRIG-B SIGNAL TYPE:NoneRange: None, DC Shift, Amplitude Modulated PRECISION TIME PROTOCOL (1588)See below SNTP PROTOCOLSee below LOCAL TIMESee below
