Click the OK button to apply the change. The settings file and corresponding secure FlexLogic equations are now locked to the N60 device specified by the serialnumber.4.1.8 Settings file traceabilityA traceability feature for settings files allows the user to quickly determine if the settings in a N60 device have beenchanged since the time of installation from a settings file. When a settings file is transferred to a N60 device, the date, time, and serial number of the N60 are sent back to EnerVista UR Setup and added to the settings file on the local computer. Thisinformation can be compared with the N60 actual values at any later date to determine if security has been compromised. The traceability information is only included in the settings file if a complete settings file is either transferred to the N60device or obtained from the N60 device. Any partial settings transfers by way of drag and drop do not add the traceabilityinformation to the settings file.Figure 4-11: Settings file traceability2The serial number and last setting change dateare stored in the UR-series device. The serial number of the UR-series device and the file transferdate are added to the setting file when setting filesare transferred to the device.842864A2.CDRCompare transfer dates in the setting file and theUR-series device to determine if securityhas been compromised.1 SETTING FILE TRANSFERREDTO UR-SERIES DEVICESERIAL NUMBER AND TRANSFER DATESENT BACK TO ENERVISTA ANDADDED TO SETTING FILE.
