This eliminates the need to store waypointsalong the way.Cancel GOTO— cancels the current GOTOdestination and resumes navigation of any previouslyselected route. If no route is currently in use; bearing, distance, etc. will remain blank until a destinationwaypoint is defined. To cancel the current GOTO destination, highlight ‘Cancel GOTO’ and press ENTER.TracBack NavigationThe TracBack navigation feature allows you to retraceyour path using the Track Log automatically stored in thereceiver’s memory. This eliminates the need to manuallystore waypoints along the way. A Track Log is anelectronic breadcrumb trail showing the path you havetraveled. Your unit can be set to automatically recordtrack log points anytime the receiver is on and lockedonto satellites (see page 119.)TracBack routes are created by reducing your tracklog into a route of up to 30 waypoints and activating thenew route in reverse order along those waypoints. Onceactivated, a TracBack route will lead you back to theoldest track log point stored in memory, so it’s a good ideato clear the existing track log at the beginning of yourcurrent trip (e.g., at your home airport) before you getstarted.‘TracBack’ allows you toretrace your path basedupon an automatictrack log recording. To cancel a currentGOTO destination, select‘Cancel GOTO’ from theGOTO Options.
