Select ‘Off’, ‘On’ or ‘Reset’ and press ENTER.‘Since Midnight’ provides a running count of howlong the unit has been in operation since midnight of thecurrent day.‘Since Factory Reset’ provides a running count oftotal operating time since the receiver was shipped fromthe factory.Emergency— The NavTalk Pilot can be programmedto auto-dial an emergency number such as 911, a securityagency, or other emergency assistance service. The unitwill allow emergency auto-dialing even if the unit is“Locked”. Press and hold the red “9“ key for more thantwo seconds. If you want to cancel before the call isconnected, press END.To Program Emergency Calling:1. Press the MENU key twice to access the Menu page.2. Scroll down to Emergency and press ENTER. TheEmergency programming page will appear.3. Move the cursor to the Emergency number field andpress ENTER. Use the phone keypad to enter thedesired number. You may enter 911 or anemergency number of your choice, then pressENTER to record. If the padlock icon is closed youmust enter the “Security Lock Code” to open beforeaccessing the number field.4. Cursor to the “Feature Enabled” box and pressENTER to enable Emergency Calling.
