3312 Self Programming Mode12.1 Outline of FunctionThe Self Programming Mode allows the programmingof transceiver functions without the use of a computerand FPU.12.2 Function DescriptionPress the [MON] key while turning the transceiver ONto enter the Self Programming Mode.There are two modes in Self Programming Mode:Channel Set Mode and ID Set Mode.To avoid inadvertently changing the transceiver’sprogramming, the self programming mode should bedisabled in the FPU.12.2.1 Channel Set ModePress the [MON] key while “SELF” appears on thedisplay to enter the Channel Set Mode.You can program each channel using this transceiverfunction.The Group-Channel to be programmed appears(Group1-Channel1 in this example).Press the [CH UP] and [CH DOWN] keys to changethe Channel number.Press the [ ] key to change the position of the dotfrom the Channel to the Group.Press the [CH DOWN] key to change the Groupnumber.Press the [SCN] key after selecting the Group andChannel.Following are the operations for configuring theChannel:• Press the [ ] key to select the item.• Press the [|] key to store the change. You canmove to other items after the change is stored.• Press the [MON] key to program theGroup/Channel.• The function of the [|] key varies, correspondingto the item.• Press the [CH UP] and [CH DOWN] keys to selectthe item.12.2.1.1 RX FrequencyThis item allows you to program the receivefrequency.The current frequency appears after the “R.”.Press the [|] key to change the frequency step.Press and hold the [|] key for more than 1 secondon a programmed Channel to delete the Channel.Press and hold the [|] key for more than 1 secondon a Channel that is not programmed, to display thedefault frequency.12.2.1.2 QT/DQT DecodeThis function allows you to program the QT/DQTDecode.The following display appears when the QT/DQTDecode is not programmed.Press the [|] key to program the QT frequency orDQT code.
