Thisfeature allows two multicast routers to exchange multicast packets even whenthey are separated by routers that cannot forward multicast packets.1. Click CONFIG on the home page.2. Click the Interfaces link.3. Click TUNNELS in the PHYSICAL column.4. From the pulldown menu in the CREATE A NEW TUNNEL INTERFACEWITH ENCAPSULATION, select DVMRP.5. Click APPLY.Each time you select a tunnel encapsulation and click APPLY, a newtunnel appears in the table.6. Click the logical interface name in the I NTERFACE column of the Logicalinterfaces table; this takes you to the interface page for the specifiedtunnel.Example—tun0c17. Enter the IP address of the local end of the DVMRP tunnel in the L OCALADDRESS edit box.The local address must be one of the system’s interface IP addresses andmust also be the remote address configured on the DVMRP tunnel on theremote router.8. Enter the IP address of the remote end of the DVMRP tunnel in theREMOTE ADDRESS edit box.
