9 Configuring System Functions520 Voyager Reference GuideUpgrading IPSO Images for a ClusterYou can use Cluster Voyager to upgrade the IPSO image on all the clusternodes. After you see that the new image has been successfully installed on allthe nodes, you need to reboot them so that they will run the new image. See“Managing a Cluster” in the section on configuring traffic management formore information about Cluster Voyager.Rebooting a clusterWhen you click Reboot, Shut Down System on the main configuration page inCluster Voyager, you see the Cluster Traffic Safe Reboot link. If you click thislink, the cluster nodes are rebooted in a staggered manner. The process ismanaged so that at least one node is always operational. For example, if youreboot a two-node cluster, one node restarts first. The second node waits forthe first node to restart successfully and rejoin the cluster before it reboots. Ifthe first node, does not successfully rejoin the cluster, the first node does notreboot.Managing PackagesInstalling PackagesThis procedure describes how to install a package:1. Click C ONFIG on the home page.2. Click the Manage Installed Packages link in the System Configurationsection.3. Click the FTP and Install Packages link.4. Enter the hostname or IP address of the FTP site where the packages arelocated.5. Enter the FTP directory where the packages reside at the FTP site.
