When turnedon, your machine’s Sender ID, date and time will be printed oneach page slightly outside the image area of your document.When turned off, your Sender ID, date and time will not beprinted. Using this function, you can set up a closednetwork of fax machines. If you do not want your machine totransmit faxes to or receive faxes from locations outside yournetwork, select T/R. If you only want your machine to refuse toreceive faxes from outside your network, select RX. Availablesettings are OFF, T/R and RX09:TX MODE DEFAULT09:TX MODE DEFAULT09:TX MODE DEFAULT09:TX MODE DEFAULT09:TX MODE DEFAULT - This function allows you tochange your machine’s default type of original, transmit andcopy resolution settings. Unless you select otherwise using theTransmit Resolution/Ù YES or Type of Original/NO ı keys, yourmachine is set to use the STD and NORMAL settings. If you areconstantly sending faxes which require some other combinationof transmission modes, use this function setting to change thedefault transmission modes to any other combination of settings.While you are programming, the new default combinations willappear on the LEDs above the Transmit Resolution/Ù YES orType of Original/NO ı key.10:T/F TIMER PRG.10:T/F TIMER PRG.10:T/F TIMER PRG.10:T/F TIMER PRG.10:T/F TIMER PRG. - When set to the telephone/ faxanswering mode, your machine automatically distinguishesbetween incoming voice and fax calls. If the incoming call is avoice call, your machine will ring to tell you to pick up thehandset. If you do not answer, your machine automaticallyswitches back to facsimile mode to allow the calling party tomanually send a fax. The T/F TIMER function controls howlong your machine waits before switching back to fax mode.Available settings are 20 seconds or 35 seconds11:RING RESPONSE11:RING RESPONSE11:RING RESPONSE11:RING RESPONSE11:RING RESPONSE - This function controls how longyour machine waits before answering an incoming telephonecall when your machine is set to auto receive or telephone/faxauto switch answering modes. The available settings are 1 ring,5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds or 20 seconds.Note: If your machine is set to telephone/fax auto switchanswering mode, it is recommended that you set ringresponse to one ring.
