2827MANAGING KEY ASSIGNMENTSYou can view station key assignments and add extenders to some of the program-mable keys for easy one touch operation of frequently used features.An extender is a number that makes an otherwise general key very specific. Add-ing the digit “4” to a PAGE key defines this key for paging zone four. Adding “225”to a directed pickup key will define this key as pickup for extension 225 only. Thekey must already be assigned by the installing technician.This program is used to assign extenderds. Dial the station number (e.g., 205) OR use [205] KEY EXTENDUP or DOWN to scroll through the station 01:CALL1numbers and press the right soft key tomove the cursor3. Enter the key number (e.g., 18) OR use [205] KEY EXTENDUP and DOWN to scroll through the keys 18:DSand use the right soft key to move thecursor OR press the key to be programmed4. Dial the extender according to the listabove and the system will display yourselectionIf there are no more entries, pressthe left soft key to return to step 25.
