51• LPI. This parameter allows you to set the lines per inch (LPI). The possible selections are 1.5, 2, 3, 4,5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12. The default setting is 6 LPI.RibbonRibbon End Point. This parameter adjusts the point at which the system will declare the ribbon as beingexpended. The life count is from 100% to 0%, but if a darker setting is selected, 0% will be reached morequickly.If a lighter setting is selected, the system will extend the time it takes to reach 0%.Configuration• Save Config. This option allows you to save up to eight configurations to meet different print jobrequirements. This eliminates the need to change the parameter settings for each new job. Theconfigurations are stored in memory and will not be lost if you turn off the printer. If the ProtectConfigs. parameter is enabled, the new configuration will not be saved unless the existingconfiguration has been deleted first. The factory default configuration cannot be changed. See SavingYour New Configuration on page 42 for details.• Power-Up Config. This option allows you to specify which of the nine configurations (Factory or 1-8)will be the power-up configuration.Clear• Buffers. Clears all buffers and resets the application task to its initial state.• All Configs. Copies the Factory Configuration settings into all saved configurations. Any parametersnot listed on the Configuration Report, such as special characters downloaded from the hostcomputer, are unaffected.• Current Config. Copies the Factory Configuration settings into the current configuration. Anyparameters not listed on the Configuration Report, such as special characters downloaded from thehost computer, are unaffected.• Reset. The printer controller performs a hardware reset. You may use this in place of cycling powerto the printer.
