77Serial I/O SubmenuBaudSets the baud rate of the serial interface in the printer. Baud rate is the speed at which serial data istransferred between the host computer and the printer. The choices for the RS-232 interface are 600,1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200 Baud. The default is 9600 Baud.Data BitsSets the length of the serial data word. The length of the data word can be set to 7 or 8 bits, and mustmatch the corresponding data bits setting in the host computer. The default is 8 bits.Stop BitsSets the number of stop bits in the serial data word. Either one or two stop bits can be selected. Thesetting must match the corresponding stop bit setting in the host computer. The default is one stop bit.ParitySet for odd parity, even parity, or no parity. The setting must match the corresponding parity settingin the host computer. The default is no parity.6001200240048009600*192003840057600115200Serial I/O(from page 62) * = Factory Default8th BitParityStop BitsData BitsBaud Protocol8 Bits*7 Bits1 Bits*2 BitsNone*OddEvenData*UnusedReady/Busy*Xon/XoffEnq/AckEtx/AckEtx/Ack/NakAck/NakXon/off/Etx/AckXon/off/Enq/AckOff*OnBusy*OfflinePowerActive Low*Active HighActive Low*Active HighBusy*HighOff*On16K*1K to 16KNo*SmallBigUnsolicitRpt.Buffer Sizein KRTS FunctionBusy PolarityDTR PolarityDTRFunctionStatusEnquiry Robust Xon
