Theposition of the cursor on the list shows the current position.Undoing the last operation (single undo)Press the UNDO/REDO button to return to the state before thelast operation.After doing this, the UNDO/REDO button lights, showing thatredo (see below) is possible.8 Canceling an undo operation (redo)Press the UNDO/REDO button when it is lit.The last action is enabled again, the unit returns to its neweststate, and the UNDO/REDO button becomes unlit.Undoing older operations (multiple undo)To perform the multi-undo, first you must set UndoHistory on the PREFERENCE menu to LEVEL10. (See“Undo feature settings” on page 40.)1. Set Undo History on the PREFERENCE menu toLEVEL10.2. When the Home screen is displayed, press the UNDO/REDObutton to display HISTORY LIST.The maximum number for the undo history is 10. In other words,a maximum of 10 operations can be undone.This operation is called "multi-undo" because it allows youto undo multiple events and return to an earlier state.3. Use the JOG/DATA dial to select (blue highlight) the eventthat you want to return to (all events after the selected eventwill be undone).4. Press the F4 (t) button.The multi-undo is performed and the song is restored to thestate just after the selected event was performed.In this state, the UNDO/REDO button lights.The event information undone through the above operationis not erased. The unit has simply been returned to aprevious state.On the HISTORY LIST screen, 0 icon appears next tothe last event after undoing. When the most recent event isselected on HISTORY LIST, pressing the F4 (t) buttonreturns to the most recent operation.CAUTION• When saving a song, a maximum of 10 operation historyevents can be saved with the song data. If the number ofoperation history events exceeds 10, the oldest events in thehistory are erased. These erased events cannot be restored.• Since the history information is stored as the song infor-mation, even when the power is turned off (standby), theprevious operation remains stored, so the undo operation isalso possible next time the power is turned on.• If you perform an operation that is added to the historywhen the UNDO/REDO button is lit after a multi-undooperation has been performed, the history after themulti-undo will be erased.
