Always use print materials that meet theguidelines for use with this machine. See Paper Specifications on page 10-6.To get the best possible print quality, use only high-quality copier-grade paper.When you choose print materials, consider the following:• Size: You can use any size paper that fits easily within the paper adjustersof the tray.• Weight: 16 ~ 24 lb (60 to 90 g/m2) for the tray when feeding multiplepages, and 16 ~ 43 lb (60 to 165 g/m 2 ) for the manual tray and the traywhen feeding a single page.• Brightness: Some papers are whiter than others and produce sharper,more vibrant images.• Surface smoothness: The smoothness of the paper affects how crisp theprinting looks on the paper.CAUTION: Using print materials that do not conform to thespecifications listed on page 10-6 may cause problems that may requireservice.
