Call in a qualifiedprofessional to fix the problem.• Check to make sure that the maximum operational hours of the mercury vapor short arc lamp are notexceeded.5.2.2 Changing the FusesAlways pull the plug beforechanging any fuses.The fuse compartment is on the backside of themicroscope. It is combined with the plug andcontains two fuses type T 3.15 A/H /250 V.• Pull the plug.• Pull the fuse retainer (726H726HFig. 5-1/2) forward withthe aid of a small screwdriver, if necessary.• Remove the fuses from their container andreplace them with new fuses.• Push the fuse retainer back into thecompartment (727H727HFig. 5-1/1) to the stop.• Put the plug back in.Fig. 5-1 Changing the fuses on the stand
