STARTUPCarl Zeiss Mounting Optional Components Axio Scope.A160 M60-2-0007 e 05/083.4.6 Changing the Color Splitter in the Reflector Module FL P&CBe extremely careful when mounting the filters and the color splitter in order to avoid damagingand soiling the optical components.We advise ordering completely equipped reflectormodules FL P&C, as changing the color splitter isvery challenging.When changing the color filter, please proceed asfollows:• Remove the reflector module FL P&C from thereflector turret (see also chapter 5 4 0 H 5 4 0 H 3.1.6).• Loosen both slit screws (5 4 1 H 5 4 1 H Fig. 3-44/1) with ascrewdriver.• Hold both parts of the reflector module (theemission part (5 4 2 H 5 4 2 H Fig. 3-44/2) and the excitationpart (543H543HFig. 3-44/3) together, turn them againstthe mounting position and put them down.• Now tilt the excitation part, which lies on top(5 4 4 H 5 4 4 H Fig. 3-45/1), upward and lift the emission part(5 4 5 H 5 4 5 H Fig. 3-45/4) out of the holding fixtures(5 4 6 H 5 4 6 H Fig. 3-45/5b).• Remove color splitter (547H547HFig. 3-45/2) and springbox (5 4 8 H 5 4 8 H Fig. 3-45/3) from the bottom part of themodule.• Remove the old color splitter and put the newsplitter with the reflecting coating facing upcarefully on the spring box (549H549HFig. 3-45/3). Putboth pieces together into the bottom part ofthe module.
