The user can only LogOn or LogOff on the local HMI on the IED, thereare no users, groups or functions that can be defined on local HMI.Only characters A - Z, a - z and 0 - 9 should be used in user names andpasswords. The maximum of characters in a password is 12.At least one user must be included in the UserAdministrator group to beable to write users, created in PCM600, to IED.17.12.4.1 Authorization handling in the IEDAt delivery the default user is the SuperUser. No Log on is required to operate the IEDuntil a user has been created with the IED User Management..Once a user is created and written to the IED, that user can perform a Log on, using thepassword assigned in the tool. Then the default user will be Guest. If there is no user created, an attempt to log on will display a message box: “No userdefined!”If one user leaves the IED without logging off, then after the timeout (set in Main menu/Configuration/HMI/Screen/SCREEN:1) elapses, the IED returns to Guest state, whenonly reading is possible. By factory default, the display timeout is set to 60 minutes.1MRK 502 048-UUS A Section 17Basic IED functions699Technical manual
