Connections tothe frame relay network are made over Voice Interfaces, which are assigned to DLCIson physical frame relay ports.A Voice Interface record contains node numbers that identify the local SmartSwitch1800 and the device at the remote end of the frame relay connection. When a call isreceived, the dialing scheme in the SmartSwitch 1800 checks the node numberaddressed in the call against a list maintained by the Voice software. If the number isthat of the remote node (called the "peer" node), the call is forwarded out the framerelay port.To display the existing Voice interfaces and parameter values, press [E] at the VoiceConfiguration Menu (or [A], [F], [E] from the Main Menu).To configure an interface, press [F] at the Voice Configuration Menu. When promptedfor an Interface Number, type a number: 0–128, then press [Enter]. A screen similar tothe following will be displayed.
