Outside Curb View Assist MirrorIf your vehicle is equipped with the memory seat andmirrors, it will also be capable of performing thecurb view assist mirror feature. This feature will causethe passenger’s mirror to tilt to a preselected positionwhen the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE (R). Use thisfeature to view the curb when you are parallel parking.When the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE (R)and a five-second delay has occurred, the passenger’smirror will return to its original position.If further adjustment is needed after the mirror is tilted,the mirror controls can be used. A convexmirror’s surface is curved so you can see more from thedriver’s seat.{CAUTION:A convex mirror can make things (like othervehicles) look farther away than they really are.If you cut too sharply into the right lane, youcould hit a vehicle on your right. Check yourinside mirror or glance over your shoulderbefore changing lanes.Outside Heated MirrorsWhen you operate the rear window defogger, it alsowarms both outside rearview mirrors to help clear themof fog or ice.
