Certification LabelThe Certification label is found on the rear edge of thedriver’s side rear passenger door. It tells you the grossweight capacity of your vehicle, called the GrossVehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The GVWR includesthe weight of the vehicle, all occupants, fuel and cargo.Never exceed the GVWR for your vehicle or theGross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) for either the frontor rear axle.If you do have a heavy load, you should spread it out.Don’t carry more than 176 lbs. (80 kg) in the trunk.{CAUTION:Things you put inside your vehicle can strikeand injure people in a sudden stop or turn, orin a crash.• Put things in the trunk of your vehicle. In atrunk, put them as far forward as you can.Try to spread the weight evenly.• Never stack heavier things, like suitcases,inside the vehicle so that some of themare above the tops of the seats.• Do not leave an unsecured child restraintin your vehicle.• When you carry something inside thevehicle, secure it whenever you can.• Do not leave a seat folded down unlessyou need to.Notice: Loading objects that weigh over 400 lbs(181 kg) onto the sliding rear convenience tray maycause damage. Repairs would not be covered byyour warranty. Do not load heavy objects onthe sliding rear convenience tray.4-37
