Hazard Warning FlashersYour hazard warning flashers let you warn others. Theyalso let police know you have a problem. Your frontand rear turn signal lamps will flash on and off.The hazard warningflasher button is located onthe console, near theshift lever. See InstrumentPanel Overview onpage 3-4.Your hazard warning flashers work no matter whatposition your key is in, and even if the key is not in.Press the button to make the front and rear turn signallamps flash on and off. Press the button again toturn the flashers off.When the hazard warning flashers are on, your turnsignals will not work.Other Warning DevicesIf you carry reflective triangles, you can set them up atthe side of the road about 300 feet (100 m) behindyour vehicle.HornPress near or on the horn symbols on your steeringwheel pad to sound the horn.Power Tilt Wheel and TelescopicSteering ColumnThe power tilt wheelcontrol is located on theoutboard side of thesteering column.To operate the power tilt feature, push the control upand the steering wheel will tilt up. Push the control downand the steering wheel will go down.If the power tilt control is pressed up or down and heldin that position, there will be a slight movement anda slight pause followed by a continuous movement in thedirection the control is being pressed. This allowsvery fine control of the steering wheel position. If thecontrol is bumped, the steering wheel movesapproximately one degree in the direction commanded.3-6
