Traction Control System (TCS)Warning LightIf the TC (traction control)warning light comes onand stays on, there may bea problem with thetraction control system.The TC (traction control) warning light will come onbriefly when you turn the engine on. If it does not comeon then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn youif there is a problem.The light will also come on if you turn the tractioncontrol system off using the TC (traction control) on/offbutton located on the console.If the TC (traction control) warning light stays on orcomes on while you are driving, pull off the road as soonas possible and stop carefully. Turn your engine off andthen restart it. If the light still stays on or comes back onagain while you are driving, your vehicle needs service.Have the traction control system inspected as soon aspossible. See Traction Control System (TCS) onpage 4-9 and StabiliTrak ® System on page 4-11 formore information.Also see Competitive Driving Mode (STS-V) onpage 4-10 for more information.Engine Coolant TemperatureWarning LightThe engine coolanttemperature warning lightwill come on when theengine is very hot.This light will also come on briefly when the vehicleis started.If the light does not go out or comes on and stays onwhile driving, there may be a problem with the coolingsystem.
