Do not restore the supply until all work has beencompleted.• examine the condition of all cables and connections byreference to the drawings and plans for the automatictest system, and check that the installation workcomplies with the relevant standards and codes of engi-neering practice.• check that all connections and screw fastenings aretight.• check all cable glands for tightness and seal quality.7.2 Voltage measurements• Measurements of supply voltages and measurementson the final circuits may only be carried out by qualifiedelectricians!• Be aware of the particular hazards when carrying outmeasurements on multiple-phase power supplies!• Only use instruments with adequate voltage and currentstrength!• All measurements within internal installations may onlybe carried out by CEAG service engineers!7.3 Insulation Testing• Check that the complete system is isolated and lock itout. Do not restore the supply until all work has beencompleted.DANGER!Insulation tests may only be carried out betweenthe PE conductor and every phase conductor L1, L2and L3 as well as between the PE conductor and theneutral conductor N Do circuits contain electronicequipment, the neutral conductor and the phaseconductor must be connected while measuringTest voltage: max 500V DC, Test current 1 mA!Use only measuring devices which are able to meetthe demands of DIN VDE 0413• Disconnect the connecting cables for the mains supply.• Link the connections L and N of the switch cabinetat the terminals of the mains supply or outgoingdistributors.• Carry out the insulation test as shown in below figurefor– the connections of the mains supply (L/N) against PEfor the AT-S+ cabinet and its outgoing circuits– and similarly for the substations.• At the AT-S+ switch cabinet, link connections U1/O1 etc.at the output terminals of the final circuits of the cabinetand test the insulation for the final circuits U1/O1 or U2/O2 etc. against PE.• On completion of the insulation tests, remove the linksacross terminals L/N (on the mains supply and/or outgo-ing circuits) and U1/O1 etc. at the terminal of the finalcircuits.• Reconnect all disconnected cables and check the PEconnected on the cabinet door.AT-S+a) b)a: Insulation test on the powersupply (mains)b: Insulation test on final circuitsNOTELinking L / N and U1 / 01 ( ... ) will protect active compo-nents of the electronics in the AT-S+ cabinet and of theluminaires (ballasts) from possible destruction!
