Cluster managementis to implement management of large numbers of distributed network devices.Cluster management is implemented through Huawei Group Management Protocolversion 2 (HGMPv2). By employing HGMPv2, a network administrator can managemultiple devices using the public IP address of one device in a cluster. The device thatconfigured with a public address and performs the management function is known asthe management device and other managed devices are called member devices,which together form a cluster. Figure 1-1 illustrates a typical cluster implementation.
