Inputs 3–8 are capable of accepting phono level signals (in addition to line level signals).You will likely need to adjust the line/phono switches and set them to “Phono” (this can only be done via theK-Mix Editor); by default they are set to Line. Once the inputs you want to plug turntables into have been set toaccept phono level signals simply plug in your turntables and turn up the K-Mix faders.Also note that a majority of turntables have RCA audio connectors, so it is quite likely you will need RCA-to-TRS(1/4”) adapters to properly get audio flowing into your K-Mix.H OW DO I GET THE HEADPHONE OUTPUT TO ACT AS ITS OWN SEPARATESTEREO OUTPUT ?K-Mix’s headphone output can indeed function as a discrete stereo output. This can be done from either theK-Mix hardware or the K-Mix Editor.K-M IX H ARDWARETo set the headphone out to act as a discrete stereo output via the K-Mix hardware, do the following:1. Power up K-Mix.2. Press the [ ] button to enter Phones Mode.3. Press the Master channel select button.4. That’s it! The headphone out is now acting as a discrete stereo output.K-M IX E DITORTo set the headphone out to act as a discrete stereo output via the K-Mix Editor, do the following:1. Connect your K-Mix to your computer and power it up.2. Open the K-Mix Editor.3. In the fader section (of the editor), click the headphone channel select button. The phones channelstrip will be displayed in the main tab area (just above the fader section).4. In the phones channel strip view, click the “Discrete Stereo Output” button.5. That’s it! The headphone out is now acting as a discrete stereo output.Once the headphone output is set to act as a discrete output, the extra outputs can be accessed via acomputer by sending audio out to K-Mix outputs 9 & 10. It is important to note that only audio coming from acomputer can be sent directly to the extra headphone output channels; audio going into K-Mix’s analog inputscannot be sent directly to these output channels.
