In reception mode other than [Fax Ready Mode], you must connect a telephoneto the machine. A telephone that is connected to the machine is called an externaltelephone.When a fax reception is in progress, the sender's information is displayed on the displayscreen. Even if the reception is complete, the [DATA IN MEMORY] indicator lights as long asthe data is saved in the Memory of this machine.MemoChange the reception mode in [Admin Setup] > [User Install].User InstallIf Memory overflow occurs during data reception, the reception is canceled. In such a case,ask the sender to send the fax again.Fax Ready ModeThis mode is the factory default setting.
