Details of recording are givenin “Bilingual Audio Selection” (page 62).ªTo skip unwanted partsPress [;] (8) to pause recording.Press again to restart recording.ªTo stop recordingPress [∫] (7).Note≥Stop play on the other equipment as well.≥This unit does not support recording the signal from a personalcomputer.≥The audio recorded through the DV Input terminal is the audioselected in the “Audio mode for DV input”.For your reference≥Poor video quality or colouring may indicate that the material youare recording has copy protection.≥If you connect an other equipment with RGB output capability tothe AV2 socket on this unit, the output signal of the equipmentmust be set to RGB when you have set “AV2 Input” to “RGB (PALonly)”.≥Select the TV system (PAL/NTSC) of the programme you wish torecord (page 63).≥Any software that has been so treated cannot be recorded usingthis unit.≥We recommend connecting one piece of DV equipment at a time.≥When DV equipment is connected, it is not possible to use theDV terminal and operate the unit from other equipment.≥In the case of some DV equipment, pictures and sound may notbe received properly.≥If there is no television picture when playing back from anexternal device, turn the external device off and then on onceagain.≥Almost all videos and DVD software on sale have been treated toprevent illegal copying.
