36Entering titles[SD/CARD] [RAM] [DVD-R]You can:≥Title discs with the DISC INFORMATION in the FUNCTIONSwindow.≥Title programmes with the Timer recording (page 32).≥Title programmes with the DIRECT NAVIGATOR (page 40).≥Title play lists with the PLAY LIST screen (page 46).≥Title folders of still pictures (page 49).Preparation≥Switch [DVD, TV] (19) to “DVD”.≥Insert a disc with something recorded on it.≥Select Titling “DISC INFORMATION”, Titling “Timer recording”,Titling “DIRECT NAVIGATOR”, or Titling “PLAY LIST”, or Titling“JPEG” screen.1 After the titling screen appearsUse [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select the character youwant to enter and press [ENTER] (10).≥You can enter the following characters.(1) This window shows the text you have entered (Title field)(2) ERASE ([;] (8))(3) SET ([∫] (7)) (when you have finished entering text)(4) SPACETo enter other charactersRepeat step 1.2 Press [∫] (7). (You can also finish entering the titleby using [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “SET” andpressing [ENTER] (10).)≥The title is entered and the screen disappears.ªTo stop partway throughPress [RETURN] (28) (does not save any title information).ª Entering titles≥To enter charactersUse [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select the character you want toenter and press [ENTER] (10).≥To erase charactersPress [;] (8).
