Therefore, an operator must configure the security function.Initialization of WLAN Security FunctionThis is a procedure to disable WLAN, where the security function is configured, to theinitial status.Configuration using CLIAn example of initializing the security function of wlan 1 is show below:1 Go to configure wlan configuration mode of CLI.WEC8500# configure terminalWEC8500/configure# wlan 12 After entering into the security configuration mode, use the ‘setDefault’command to initialize the security configuration.WEC8500/configure/wlan 1# securityWEC8500/configure/wlan 1/security# setDefault3 After applying the changed configuration, exit the security configurationmode.WEC8500/configure/wlan 1/security# applyWEC8500/configure/wlan 1/security# exit4 To check configuration information, use the ‘show wlan securitysummary’ command.Configuration using Web UIIn the menu bar of , select and then select the menu in the sub-menus.
