Remove all rings,watches and other jewelry.Note: When the platform circuit board is replaced,the joystick controllers will need to be calibrated.Refer to Repair Procedure, How to Calibrate aJoystick.How to Remove the Circuit Board1 Push in the red Emergency Stop button to theoff position at both the ground and platformcontrols.2 Locate the cables that connect to the bottomof the control box. Number each cable and itslocation at the control box.3 Disconnect the cables from the bottom of theplatform control box.4 Remove the control cable receptacle retainingfasteners from the bottom of the platformcontrol box.5 Remove the platform control box lid retainingfasteners. Open the control box lid.6 Locate the circuit board mounted to the insideof the platform control box.7 Attach a grounded wrist strap to the groundscrew inside the control box.Electrocution/burn hazard.Contact with electrically chargedcircuits could result in death orserious injury. Remove all rings,watches and other jewelry.Component damage hazard.Electrostatic discharge (ESD)can damage printed circuit boardcomponents. Maintain firmcontact with a metal part of themachine that is grounded at alltimes when handling printedcircuit boards OR use agrounded wrist strap.8 Tag and carefully disconnect the wireconnectors from the circuit board.9 Tag and disconnect the ribbon cable from theLED circuit board.10 Remove the circuit board mounting fasteners.11 Carefully remove the circuit board from thecontrol box.
