September 2015 Service ManualPlatform ControlsPart No. 218700 ZX-135/70 91Turntable rotate functions:1 Turn the key switch to the off position.2 Press and hold the enter button on the groundcontrol panel while turning the key switch toplatform controls. Hold the enter button forapproximately 5 seconds.3 Press the minus button twice, then press theenter button twice.4 Use the scroll button to scroll through themenu until DELETE TURNTABLE ROTATEJOYSTICK DEFAULTS is displayed.5 Press the plus button to select YES, thenpress the enter button.6 Do not start the engine.7 Locate the primary boom/turntable rotatejoystick.8 Move the boom/turntable joystick full stroke inthe left direction and hold for 5 seconds, thenreturn to the center or neutral position.9 Move the boom/turntable joystick full stroke inthe right direction and hold for 5 seconds, thenreturn to the center or neutral position.Result: The alarm at the ground controlsshould sound for a successful calibration.How to R es et a Proportional Valve Coil D efaultHow to Reset a ProportionalValve Coil DefaultNote: Use the following chart to identify thedescription of each LCD screen control button usedin this procedure.Plus Minus Previous EnterNote: This procedure only needs to be performed ifa proportional valve has been replaced.Note: After the valve coil defaults have been set,each machine function threshold and defaultfunction speed must be set. Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Set the Function Thresholdsand Default Function Speeds.1 Turn the key switch to the off position.2 Press and hold the enter button on the groundcontrol panel while turning the key switch toplatform controls. Hold the enter button forapproximately 5 seconds.3 Press the minus button twice, then press theenter button twice.4 Use the previous button to scroll through themenu until the function valve that needs to bereset is displayed. Press the plus button toselect yes, then press the enter button to savethe setting.5 Press the enter or previous button on theLCD screen until EXIT is displayed.6 Press the plus button or minus button toselect YES and then press the enter button.
