Press the enteror previous button until SECONDARY BOOMANGLE is displayed.4 Fully raise the secondary boom. The boom isfully raised when the cylinder is fully extendedand the boom stops moving.5 Zero a digital level to the Y axis of theturntable. Refer to Maintenance Procedure,Test the Turntable Level Sensor.6 Place the digital level on top of the secondaryboom.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is within ± 2° of each other and of 76°.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is greater than ± 2° of each other and of76°. The secondary boom angle sensor mustbe calibrated. Refer to Repair Procedure, Howto Calibrate the Secondary Boom AngleSensor.Tip-over hazard. If the boom isnot within ± 2° of 76°,immediately lower the secondaryboom. Failure to lower the boomcould cause the machine to tipover resulting in death or seriousinjury. Refer to RepairProcedure, How to Calibrate theSecondary Boom Angle Sensor.7 Lower the secondary boom to 65°.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is within ± 2° of each other and of 65°.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is greater than ± 2° of each other and of65°. The secondary boom angle sensor mustbe calibrated. Refer to Repair Procedure, Howto Calibrate the Secondary Boom AngleSensor.8 Lower the secondary boom to 50°.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is within ± 2° of each other and of 50°.Result: The reading at the display and digitallevel is greater than ± 2° of each other and of50°. The secondary boom angle sensor mustbe calibrated.
