The groundcontrol override function is intended to allowground personnel to operate the machine from theground controls whether or not the EmergencyStop button on the platform controls is in the on oroff position. This function is particularly useful if theoperator at the platform controls cannot return theboom to the stowed position.1 Push in the platform red Emergency Stopbutton to the off position.2 Turn the key switch to ground controls.3 Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to theon position at the ground controls.4 Start the engine and operate each boomfunction through a partial cycle.Result: All boom functions should operate.5 From the platform, activate the foot switch andoperate each boom function.Result: No boom functions operate.6 Pull out the red Emergency stop button to theon position at the platform controls.7 Activate the foot switch and operate eachboom function.Result: No boom functions operate.
