WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Installing and Removing the I/O-IPC 43758-874/000-131 WAGO-I/O-IPC-C6ManualVersion 1.0.0Pos: 36.1 /Serie 758 (Funk, IPC und PFC)/Montieren/Montage 758-87x Einleitung 1 @ 10\mod_1312436538898_21.doc @ 75830 @ 12 @ 16 Installing and Removing the I/O-IPCThe I/O-IPC has an elevated generation of heat. Excess heat is drawn off bypassive heat dissipation (aluminum underside of the I/O-IPC and mounting rail). For this reason, the I/O-IPC shall always be mounted on a mounting rail.6.1 Instructions for Installation/RemovalThe following information shall always be observed:Pos: 36.2 /Serie 758 (Funk, IPC und PFC)/Montieren/Montage 758-87x Sicherheitshinweis Achtung: Belüftung des Einbauorts 55° @ 10\mod_1313494510284_21.doc @ 77072 @ @ 1NOTICEVentilation of the installation siteWhen installing the I/O-IPC, leave a free space on the sides and above of 40 mmto achieve sufficient heat dissipation. The surrounding temperature at theinstallation site shall not exceed +55 °C during operation.Pos: 36.3 /Serie 758 (Funk, IPC und PFC)/Montieren/Montage 758-87x Sicherheitshinweis ESD: Offene Schnittstelle @ 10\mod_1313494519690_21.doc @ 77076 @ @ 1NOTICEOpen interface!Unneeded interfaces of the I/O-IPC shall be closed with the accompanyingprotective caps to prevent possible damage caused by electrostatic discharge.Pos: 36.4 /Serie 758 (Funk, IPC und PFC)/Montieren/Montage 758-87x Einleitungsende 3 @ 10\mod_1313488048409_21.doc @ 77064 @ 22 @ 1• Select a sufficiently stable mounting rail and use several mounting points(every 20 cm), if applicable, to prevent the I/O-IPC from bending andtwisting the mounting rail.• When using mounting rails with a height of 7.5 mm, use flat riveting orsunken screws. Otherwise, the I/O-IPC and the connected I/O modulescannot be correctly mounted on the mounting rail.• Take care that the physical interfaces are not soiled during installation. Thiscan lead to damage and corrosion of the contacts.• To avoid damage to the I/O-IPC, do not install it within the shear ranges ofmobile systems or machine parts.• Arrange for an appropriate potential equalization in your system.• The mounting rails shall be screwed on so that they are grounded at theinstallation site.
