Themain purpose of the synchronizing function is to provide controlled closing of circuitbreakers when two asynchronous systems are going to be connected. The synchronizingfunction evaluates voltage difference, phase angle difference, slip frequency andfrequency rate of change before issuing a controlled closing of the circuit breaker. Breakerclosing time is a parameter setting.1MRK 511 287-UUS A Section 10Control221Technical manual
