Error handlingDepending on the error that occurs during the command sequence, the error signal will beset with a value. Table 195 describes vendor specific cause values in addition to thesespecified in IEC 61850-8-1 standard. The list of values of the “cause” are in order ofpriority. The values are available over the IEC 61850. An output L_CAUSE on thefunction block indicates the latest value of the error during the command.Table 195:Values for "cause" signal in priority orderApparatus controlfunctionDescription–22 wrongCTLModel–23 blockedForCommand–24 blocked-for-open-command–25 blocked-for-close-command–30 longOperationTime–31 switch-not-start-moving–32 persistent-intermediate-state–33 switch-returned-to-initial-position–34 switch-in-bad-state–35 not-expected-final-position10.3.9.2 Circuit breaker SXCBRThe users of the Circuit breaker function (SXCBR) is other functions such as for example, switch controller, protection functions, autorecloser function or an IEC 61850 clientresiding in another IED or the operator place. This switch function executes commands, evaluates block conditions and evaluates different time supervision conditions. Only if allconditions indicate a switch operation to be allowed, the function performs the executioncommand. In case of erroneous conditions, the function indicates an appropriate "cause"value.SXCBR has an operation counter for closing and opening commands. The counter valuecan be read remotely from the operator place. The value is reset from a binary input orremotely from the operator place by configuring a signal from the Single Point GenericControl 8 signals (SPC8GGIO) for example.Local/Remote switchOne binary input signal LR_SWI is included in SXCBR to indicate the local/remoteswitch position from switchyard provided via the I/O board. If this signal is set to TRUEit means that change of position is allowed only from switchyard level. If the signal is setto FALSE it means that command from IED or higher level is permitted. When the signalis set to TRUE all commands (for change of position) from internal IED clients areSection 10 1MRK 511 287-UUS AControl266Technical manual
