Revision December, 2014 6-1Chapter 6 Control Mode ofOperation6.1 Selection of Operation ModeThree basic operation modes are provided in this servo drive, position, speed and torque(force). Users can use single mode (only in one-mode control) and dual mode to control. The following table lists all operation mode and description.Mode Name ShortNameSettingCode DescriptionSingleModePosition mode(Terminal input) PT 00The servo drive receives position commandand commands the motor to the targetposition. The position command is input viaterminal block and receives pulse signal.Position mode(Register input) PR 01The servo drive receives position commandand commands the motor to the targetposition. The position command is issued byregister (64 sets of register in total) and usesDI signal to select the register.Speed Mode S 02The servo drive receives speed commandand commands the motor to the targetspeed. The speed command can be issuedby register (3 sets of registers in total) or theexternal analog voltage (-10V ~ +10V). DIsignal is used to select the command source.Speed mode(No analog input) Sz 04The servo drive receives speed commandand commands the motor to the targetspeed. The speed command is issued byregister (3 sets of registers in total) andcannot be issued by the external terminalblock. DI signal is used to select thecommand source.Torque (force)mode T 03The servo drive receives torque (force)command and commands the motor to thetarget torque. The torque (force) commandcan be issued by register (3 sets of registersin total) or the external analog voltage (-10V~ +10V). DI signal is used to select thecommand source.Torque (force)mode(No analog input)Tz 05The servo drive receives torque (force)command and commands the motor to thetarget torque (force). The torque (force)command can be issued by register (3 setsof registers in total) and cannot be issued bythe external terminal block. DI signal is usedto select the command source.
