Using thiskey, you can force messages to print, although printquality may be poor because toner is low. This key is alsoused to print confidential fax messages received intomailboxes in your fax machine’s memory. Refer the“Advanced Operations, Confidential Faxes (SecurityFeature)” section of this handbook.When no messages are in memory, use this key to print acleaning page to clear accumulated toner from the imagedrum. Refer to the “Problem Solving, Printing a CleaningPage” section of this handbook.Chain DialingEach fax number you enter or program into your fax machinecan be up to 32 digits long. There may be situations whereyou need to dial a number longer than that. Or you may wantto program portions of a number separately. For example, youmay frequently send to different extensions at the samecompany, or individuals may need to enter a department codeafter the phone number for accounting purposes. These aresituations where the chain dialing feature is helpful.Creating a Chain Dial Number1 Program up to the first 31 digits of the number into a OneTouch key or Auto Dial number.2 Press the 8/Location Program One Touch key to make thisa chain dial number.3 Program the rest of the number into another One Touchkey or Auto Dial numberoryou can leave the second part of the numberunprogrammed and enter it manually on the numerickeypad.
