21.8 Radar mode and orientationRadar orientation modesThe radar can operate in a number of orientationmodes to suit different types of navigation.The orientation of the radar refers to the relationshipbetween the radar and the direction that you aretravelling in. There are three orientation modes tochoose from:• Head-Up• North-Up• Course-UpThese orientation modes are used in conjunctionwith motion mode to control how your boat and radarrelate to one another and how they are displayedon screen.
