Note that theother libraries can also have their datadumped and loaded together with the snap-shot library entries (i.e. more than onecheckbox can be checked at the same time).3 Move the cursor to the box at the right of thecheckbox. Use the JOG dial to scroll throughthe list of options: ALL snapshot libraryentries, the current settings (CurrentData), or an individual snapshot libraryentry, from 01 to 60 (Library01 –Library60).4 Make any preparations on the receivingdevice so that the bulk dump data can bereceived successfully.5 Move the cursor to the BULK DUMP but-ton, and press ENTER to start the bulk dump.As the data is being transmitted, the follow-ing popup “bargraph” appears, to indicatethe progress of the operation:Note that pressing a cursor key will stop theoperation. After the MIDI data has beentransmitted, the popup message changes tothe following:Restoring snapshot data from a MIDI bulk data trans-fer is carried out in the following way:1 Make sure that MIDI is selected as theCommunication Speed in theAutomation Setup screen.2 Make sure that the MIDI channel is set to bethe same as the MIDI channel when thedump was made from the TM-D4000 (if thisis not known, the OMNI ON function canbe turned on).3 Start the transfer of the System Exclusivedata from the MIDI device.NOTEIf the transfer is interrupted, the TM-D4000may be left in a “random” state. Either makethe data transfer again, allowing it to com-plete, or turn the TM-D4000 off, wait a fewseconds, and turn it on again. It is strongly advised that the TM-D4000 con-trols are not moved during a dump process, either in or out), as this may affect the suc-cessful trasnmission of data. Also note thatafter a dump transmission, if the faders haveaccidentally been moved during the transmis-sion, they will return to their original (pre-dump) position as soon as the dump isended. The format of the MIDI System Exclusivebulk dump data is given in the section onMIDI.8.2 Other librariesThe other libraries: EQ, dynamics processor andeffect processor, are very similar to each other in themethods used for storing and recall of library entries.
